Hana Yori Dango [花より男子] This vote is for Matsujun, whom I first thought was hideous but he does grow on you a lot. Now I think he's so damn fine. Would be so much better if he was taller though? And I love Matsushima Nanako as his sister. She's just such a pleasant and good actress. Basically, a very enjoyable drama. Not inspiring or touching (HYD2 did make me weep a little but not HYD1) but it's light-hearted and definitely fun to watch.
Hero it is probably not a very hot drama here because most fans who vote here watched via subbing or subtitles. the local japanese absolutely love it! anyway, whatever has takuya and takako together gets my vote. they look so cute together :)
Love generation [ラブジェネレーション] i don't understand how Beautiful Life and Pride is above this drama. this is the best ROMANCE drama takuya kimura has ever done. probably the drama that propelled matsu takako to fame! there are many coincidences, but the drama is still VERY VERY realistic, dealing with raw emotions in love. the takuya kimura & matsu takako pairing is just divine; i think they are probably the most compatible couple in JDorama kingdom. such a joy to watch them act together. to sum it up, i simply love LOVE GENERATION and i have watched it about 20 times to date! that's how mad i am about it!
My Boss, My Hero [マイボスマイヒロ] A very good plot and I think it's rather refreshing to watch a dorama as uncommon as this. I remember laughing so hard whenever Nagase Tomoya pretends not to be a Yakuza member. He is really hot but he's not afraid to unglamourise himself. This is definitely one of my top 5 drama!
Nobuta wo Produce [野ブタ。をプロデュース] kame provides such good eyecandy and the byebye bicycle thing just makes him look so hot. don't understand why didn't he like mariko though. yamapi was so adorable with his crazy actions, yet awfully sweet when the time calls for it.
BEST JAPANESE HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA EVER.
Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi [空から降る一億の星] takuya kimura and eri fukatsu were amazing in this drama. it was so interesting to see takuya in such a role and i think he acted extremely well. however, i think sanma-san stole the show. he is such an awesome actor and his brother role really evokes the tears. one of the best scripts around, though the first few episodes were a drag to watch!

Kamenashi Kazuya [亀梨和也] KAME IS SO TALENTED! He has so many skills... Acting, Dancing, Singing, Dancing, Baseball etc. He seems like a really nice person and I really like his professional attitude. I think his acting skills are among the best in Johnny now... definitely a cut above his peers!
Kimura Takuya [木村拓哉] WHO CAN RESIST HIS CHARM???? i certainly can't! he is incredibly handsome, absolutely charming and VERY SEXY! his voice may sound irritating at times, he can get quite hot-tempered, he is kinda short, he is married.... oh i try to find so many reasons to get over him - BUT I SIMPLY CAN'T. he's so irresistable, too good to be true. hottest guy in asia, probably in the world!!!
Matsu Takako [松たか子] takako matsu and takuya kimura, what an awesome pair! they look good together, though they can get a little shy. it is really due to the both of them that got me hooked into the wonderful world of japanese dramas!
Uehara Takako [上原多香子] The prettiest and most beautiful girl in Japan. Was blown away by her beauty when I first saw her.

Slow Dance [スローダンス] too much like LONG VACATION [Rating: 6/10] but not as good. nowhere near. the lead actor is really cute though.
Tatta Hitotsu no Koi [たったひとつの恋] KAME COPYING KIMUTAKU? [Rating: 7/10] Does anyone else notice that Kame's acting style is becoming a lot like Kimura Takuya's?
