My Boss, My Hero [マイボスマイヒロ] Sure, this show has everything you'd expect from a high school drama (test of courage, school festival, sports competetion, etc.) but it does so in a way that is both fresh and endearing. I've never watched a show that made me crave a fictional product (Agnes Pudding!) more than this one. That alone is worth some major props!

Ueno Juri [上野樹里] While I'm basing this solely on her work in Nodame Cantabile, that solitary performance has made me a fan for life. It takes a lot of courage to and skill to portray a character like Noda Megumi(Nodame) and it would be difficult to imagine anyone else in the role. On a side-note, is it me or does she look a LOT like Matsuura Aya?
