just a response [Rating: ?/10]
I haven't had a chance to watch this drama yet but I just had to respond to one of the other reviews. The reason that none of the police officers in the series use guns is because guns are illegal in Japan. Until not so long ago, not even police officers were supposed to carry them. Because of the increased violence in Japan police officers are beginning to carry them on a daily basis. So the drama is actually accurately representing the Japanese attitude toward guns. The chauvanistic slant is probably also accurate. Women weren't common in the workforce until the 1980's. It was only in the last 10 years or so that women were allowed to wear skirts in the workplace. I'm looking forward to watching the series. ^_^
