14 sai no Haha [14歳の母]
THis drama is quite good [Rating: 8/10]
Interesting drama with nice OST. The only problem is the main actor, Kirino Satoshi, can't act at all and not exceptional too. I don't understand the hype about him.

Poor Remake Unfortunately... [Rating: 4/10]
There is something missing in this drama. Is it a bit Manga-ish or it's not engaging? But I can pin point some problems: The only actors that hold up the characters in the Korean Version of 'Hotelier' are Oikawa Mitsuhiro and Kohmoto Masahiro. Otherwise, bad casting! For example: Aya is too young for this role. The character that she's playing is suppose to be older. She also fail to show the complicated emotion that she falls in love with Masakazu but she still has feelings for Ogata at the same time. Another bad casting: Saeko didn't do a good job to hold up 'Kim Yun Hee' character. She doesn't even show she's mature and smart at all which her character suppose to be. I don't feel that Ogata is capable and had warm personality or likable. Also this J-version seems like rushing and the storyline is too straightfoward except for all the plots that follow the K-version. There is not space to develop the characters. If you want to watch Hotelier, I recommend the Korean version. Although it may be old and slower, the characters are more developed, the storyline is much complete, and the actors/actresses are much better in protraying their roles and emotions.
Kaikyo wo Wataru Violin [海峡を渡るバイオリン]
The main actor is a miscast!!! [Rating: 4/10]
The summary attracted me to watch this drama but it was a disappointment. The main problem is Kusanagi Tsuyoshi. He shouldn't be casted as the main actor. It was the miscast. He doesn't protray well for a Korean who live in Japan, all his emotion and actions are all overlydone and just not right (from my instinct). I don't believe that the real person (Shogen Shin) acts like what the drama protrayed. If I'm Shogen Shin, I would be really pissed of this drama. Just because Kusanagi Tsuyoshi can speak Korean, doesn't mean he's suitable for this character. Why can't a real korean actor be casted as a main actor. That way, it seems more believable. The secondary problem is the the script. It doesn't make sense for the main character to act like a mad man because he is obsessed of making a 'perfect' violin. Even a mad scientist won't be as crazy of eating poop or neglecting his family or earning his living. It's not logical. Also, the way the script is written is too manga-ish. I don't feel motivated or inspired by the main character in this drama at all. All I feel is the whole drama is ruined by miscast-Kusanagi Tsuyoshi.
