Gokusen Season 2 [ごくせん２] Well, the fact that she had to keep her yakuza identity a secret until the end of the first season is what made the series really enjoyable and at the edge of your seat. I don't get why her yakuza status is still a big deal.
Seija no koushin [聖者の行進] i just did some research and learned that this was based on a true story that happened in 1996 or 1997. it's known as the mito incident. it's really shocking that what happened in this drama actually happened in real life

Algernon ni Hanataba o [アルジャーノンに花束を] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) I've seen most of the series but not all of it. It was one of my favorite novels I read in high school and this drama is faithful to the original novel in it's own right. I loved how Yusuke Santa Maria conveyed Haru as being funny, heart warming, and emotional. My only problem was the teaching crying every episode.
Beautiful life [ビューティフルライフ] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) A really great drama. One of the best ones I've ever seen.
Boku dake no Madonna [僕だけのマドンナ] Rating: 9/10 (Bought & Watched) Really great drama. Somewhat predictable, but still had lots of unpredictable moments.
GTO [麻辣教師] Rating: 10/10 GENIOUS!!! Long live Sorimachi Takashi!!!
Koishite Shinitai [恋して死にたい] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) Very interesting since I'm a boxing fan and a fan of KinKi Kids. I wouldn't mind a cute girl following me around 24/7 =D!!!
Majo no jouken [魔女の条件] Rating: 8/10 (Bought & Watched) A friend of mine reccomended me this series after my short "relationship" with my teacher
Algernon ni Hanataba o [アルジャーノンに花束を] FLowers for Algernon [Rating: 9/10] I read the novel back in high school and loved it. I saw most of the series when I went to Japan (saw up to 6 I believe) but still loved it. I loved Santa Maria's portrayal as Haru and did a good job. I just didn't like how the teacher cried every episode.
