Aoi Tori [青い鳥] One of the Best [Rating: 10/10] One of my very favorite Jdramas. A wonderful story of a man who makes a hasty, ill-advised decision with tragic results. He is utterly haunted by what he has done. The ending creeped me out at first. I mean, she is 21 years younger than him and I believe she even referred to him as papa earlier in the show. On reflection though, perhaps they really can't be with anyone else. Could anyone else possibly fully comprehend the horror they've endured. And it's true, he did love her first. Nevertheless, a truly wonderful show. One of my favorites right up there with Soredemo Ikite Yuku.
