Recently, we purchased this set on VCD and concluded that it is simply a masterpiece. The chief highlight is Koshiro Matsumoto's performance as the enigmatic waiter/Zen master, but the rest of the ensemble holds it own with him comedically and dramatically. The writing is superb, and the music is excellent. This is a dorama that grows with you over time, and we recommend it highly to anyone in the world who appreciates fine cinematic work.
