Akanishi Jin [赤西仁]
Hayami Mokomichi [速水もこみち]
Was rather unimpressed by him in Gokusen 2, but he is AWESOME in Brother Beat! Not to mention he's pretty damn good looking.
Hiraoka Yuta [平岡祐太]
Is he always the cute guy that never seems to get a girlfriend in dramas? I have no idea, but I look forward to seeing him act in more roles. He seems to have some sort of nice aura around him.
Horikita Maki [堀北真希]
LOVED her in Nobuta and Kurosagi. The characters she portrayed in both dramas are so durastically different, she did an excellent job! She's a very cute girl too. XD
Shibasaki Kou [柴咲コウ]
First watched her in "Good Luck!!'. Didn't think her facial expressions were so good in there because she kept giving the 'icy' look... but I liked her character. She was even better as Sae in Orange Days. Her music is fantastic too.
Tsumabuki Satoshi [妻夫木聡]
VERY good acting in "Orange Days". He really did a great job. Has lots of potential to have even bigger leading roles.
Uchiyama Rina [内山理名]
Am not sure what to think of her acting. I thought she was too overly cute in Good Luck!! (although she probably had to do that for her character) but she was quite good in SOS. She is definitely very, very pretty.

Anego [アネゴ]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
Although I have yet to fully understand everything, this has been entertaining. I loved the chemistry between Shinohara and Akanishi. The storyline was very enjoyable, some funny parts here and there, I was not disappointed by the open-ended conclusion.
Atashinchi no Danshi [アタシんちの男子]
Rating: 6/10
Big wing [ビッグウイング]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
Sad to see this heart warming dorama not have good ratings when it aired. It's quite sappy once the episode is near the end, but it leaves you with a good feeling. It takes a look at the service department of the airport, something that's kind of neglected and not seen as important as airline pilots. Uchida Yuki's character may come off as overly hyper and naive, but that's what makes this enjoyable. Kashiwabara Takashi did a good job as the supervisor. It's very interesting to see how his and Uchida's relationship grow as the story develops.
Binbo Danshi [貧乏男子 (ボンビーメン)]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
Bloody Monday [ブラッディ・マンデイ]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
Boku dake no Madonna [僕だけのマドンナ]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
Takizawa and Hasegawa looked perfect for eachother, but the script was a real letdown. Some parts progressed too slowly. Other than that, it's alright. A lighthearted romantic comedy. I don't think I can stand seeing Takki playing another character with a depressing background. Last two episodes were the best. Only compliment I can give Surumi is about her clothing. It's very pretty. Kyon is such a cutie.
BOSS
Rating: 8/10
Brother Beat [ブラザー☆ビート]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
One of the most HILARIOUS dramas I've seen! It's a must-watch. 9/10 because the later episodes became more serious, but it's expected because of the story. I was never bored while watching, it was thorougly entertaining!
Dragon Zakura [ドラゴン桜]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
Most realistic school drama I've seen. Sakurai sensei gives some great advice on studying and life itself. The students are very well characterized, and I've become rather attached to Yajima and Mizuno. ^^; Not one episode I've been bored, so this is a definite recommendation. The message that they're trying to give us is to 'ganbare' on your goals and I must say, I feel inspired to do so now.
Gachi Baka ! [ガチバカ !]
Rating: 5/10 (Watched)
Very disappointing. Overused school teacher storyline, weak writers and stereotypical students = train wreck. If it wasn't for Tegoshi Yuya or Masuda Takahisa, I wouldn't have continued watching this. Here's to hoping their next drama roles will be more rewarding than this.
Gekidan Engimono - Ie ga Tooi [劇団演技者 - 家が遠い]

Gokusen [ごくせん]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
Very enjoyable. Was thoroughly entertained from start to finish. Some situations are indeed far-fetched, but it does have a point and sends a positive message across. Yankumi would really be a great teacher, although I wouldn't know if I wanted my teacher to kick someone's ass. :P Sawada Shin is just awesome. Best class leader ever.
Gokusen Season 2 [ごくせん2]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
I *hate* to compare this with the first season of Gokusen (since some reviewers have), but this second season is more of a watered down version. That's not to say this wasn't enjoyable though. The class is entertaining in it's own different way. I thought some of the situations were a bit weak, but nonetheless good. Very good starting roles for Kamenashi and Akanishi.
Gokusen Season 3 [ごくせん 3]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
Good Luck !! [グッドラック!!]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
One of the best dramas I've seen, hands down. I don't need to say anything about it, just watch it. :D
Hana Yori Dango [花より男子]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
Hanayome to Papa [花嫁とパパ]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
I wasn't expecting to watch this, but curiosity got to me and I'd say this was a big surprise. It was comedic and at the same time, while the father-daughter relationship is a tad overboard, it delivers it's purpose -- an entertaining show. The later episodes were more serious, but it was actually touching and heart warming.
Hataraki Man [働きマン]

Kimi wa Petto [きみはペット]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
This idea may seem surreal and a bit weird, but once you watch it, you'll love it. This is the first drama I've watched with Koyuki in it.. she's great! I'm looking forward to seeing more. Same goes with Matsujun.. he was adorable in here. Makes me want a "Momo" myself. ;)
Kurisumasu Nante Dai Kirai
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
This was okay. Really predictable and all... but it's sweet.
Kurosagi [クロサギ]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
What kept me going was the plot development -outside- of Kurosagi swindling people. The tricking quickly got repetitive in every episode and it seemed as if all of Kurosagi's plans were flawless (with the exception of one and at the end). The side stories of the relationships between the people around Kurosagi were very interesting to watch.
Last Friends [ラスト・フレンズ]

Did not manage to finish.
Love Shuffle [ラブシャッフル]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
Majo no jouken [魔女の条件]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
This was alright. I wouldn't watch it again because it's just too sad. Props to Takizawa and Matsushima, they've done so well in this drama.
Mei-chan no Shitsuji [メイちゃんの執事]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
MR. BRAIN
Rating: 6/10
My Boss, My Hero [マイボスマイヒロ]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
Quite funny in the beginning, but I lost some interest as the series ended. It's a fun, comedic show that makes you laugh with some typical sap in the middle. Nothing more, nothing less.
News no onna [ニュースの女]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
Excellent drama, very good story, and great acting by Suzuki Honami, Takizawa Hideaki and the rest of the brilliant cast. One of the best dramas I have watched. I loved how they developed the mother/son relationship between Suzuki and Takizawa's characters, and the overall impression of how a news program is put together. It even has a few funny moments here and there. Highly recommended to anyone.
Nobuta wo Produce [野ブタ。をプロデュース]
Rating: 10/10
One of the best dramas. A very touching story about true friendship and human nature. I was moved to tears by Akira's constant support for Shuuji and Nobuta, no matter what happened. Shuuji is depicted very accurately as someone who is struggling in society... and found happiness with two misfits. This drama is truly inspiring. Don't be fooled by the high school setting, it's much more than that.
Nodame Cantabile [のだめ カンタビ−レ]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
This is a must-watch! Excellent cast and great comedy at it's best. I love the emphasis on music and it's made me appreciate classical more than I had before.
Ohitorisama [おひとりさま]

Orange Days [オレンジデイズ]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
Great acting by Shibasaki Kou, it must have been tough trying not to talk at all. Tsumabuki Satoshi is great as well, I must say that I'm interested in watching more of his dramas after this. What a surprise to see Kashiwabara Takashi make guest appearances! I was not expecting him. The storyline about college friends is something I can relate to. One of the best doramas I've seen.
ROOKIES [ルーキーズ]
Ryusei no Kizuna [流星の絆]

Samurai High School [サムライ・ハイスクール]

Sapuri [サプリ]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
The last few episodes made up for the lack of storyline and character development. It's too bad that the ratings weren't so great and it felt a little rushed at the end, but after watching it again and understanding more, Sapuri left me with a good feeling. I really think it got very emotional towards the last episode.
Shota no sushi [将太の寿司]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
Is it me, or does Shota always look like he's going to cry in *every single* episode? XD This was the first ever dorama I've watched, so it'll always be special. After watching, I was inspired to 'ganbatte' myself. If you want to see young Kashiwabara and some really interesting ways to make sushi, this is for you.
Sore wa, Totsuzen, Arashi no you ni... [それは、突然、嵐のように…]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
Strawberry on the shortcake [ストロベリー・オンザ・ショートケーキ]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
While watching this, I had no idea it was emphasizing so much on sex until after I finished the whole thing. XD I thought the story was really sweet and depressing at the same time. It's not the best dorama out there, but it's worth a look. I thought Uchiyama Rina was really good in here.
Taiyo no Kisetsu [太陽の季節]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
Beautiful drama. Must recommend to anyone for watching. Great story, but such a sad ending. Finished it in three days. :D Btw, in my opinion, Takki looks the best in here out of all his dramas.
Tatta Hitotsu no Koi [たったひとつの恋]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
This drama would have gotten full marks if it wasn't for the awful slow start. Surprisingly enough though, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Good love story, gets your heart wrenching for them to be together in every episode. The side characters were a nice touch.
Tokyo DOGS ~ Saiaku de Saiko no Partner [東京DOGS]
(Watched)
Tokyo Love Story [東京ラブストーリー]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
Honestly, I've watched this a *long* time ago so I can't exactly remember what happened. :P I thought Suzuki Honami's character was a bit clingy but I started to feel sorry for her as the story went on. Might have even sympathized with her at some point. This is considered a classic in dorama history, so maybe it's a good idea to take a look at this.
