For me it had to to be the Sailor Moon Live Action. I probably enjoyed it more than I should have Beaten but Kitagawa Keiko was a big factor of that Big Grin Having never watched the original anime, it was a funny and entertaining way to be introduced to the series.

I think that all dramas are my guilty pleasure.
Dramas are really time consuming and it takes me away from whatever I'm supposed to be doing or I could have done alot of 'more meaningful' stuff in the 10 hours of stuffing down potato chips in front of the tv.
But
somehow it alleviates me from some of the mental pressures of work. That's why I guess, most dramas have a generous amount of fantasy or idealism in them. It's also a kind of escapism from the gruelling realities of life for me. Well, honestly, where else can you really see so many good looking guys who also can dress well in real life? I mean, other than my gorgeous untouchable gay friends... (and probably other than in Japan Shameful Cry )

I know what u mean here w00t!
I could be doing a lot more things that are a lot more important than sitting down and watching J-doramas or any dramas Sweat But i get a really big sense of joy watching those dramas that i can really relate too or ones that really catches my interest w00t!

j-dramas,

i haven't seen too many, probably under 6 or 7 in total. One's that stand out of course are, "Pretty Girls", when i first found out about Nana Smitten
I have yet to see more and more j-dramas esp. the ones with eng. subtitles, that always helps.

POKKAPOKA (1994-1996).

A show about a regular family: daddy goes to work, eccentric mommy is a housewife and Asuka goes to kindergarten.

Full of love and energy, a gem of a series that hardly anyone seems to remember but that's OK.

Along with SM Live Action, it would have to be three words:

Ace o Nerae!

Such a cheesy corny show and I really, really liked it. Of course, perhaps that's because doinkies likes Ueto Aya. ^^ But I also liked the ancient anime version that was made back in the early 70s, and I want to read the manga...

It would definitely have to be giving such a great rating to With Love strictly because Yutaka Takenouchi is so crazy handsome in it.
Its all about his hair. Smitten

I agree totally with you! I don't get enough sleep when I want to complete a drama. Then I also get broke from all the indulgence. Then I also get quite discontented with my partner after seeing the good looking actors. Then I find my life un-happening. Then I realise any good lookers on the street I see are either Taiwanese, Hongkongers or Japanese or local gays (somehow can tell from their vibe huh)! Shake Head How huh? If 10 years down the road I'm still like that Puppy Dog Eyes

Just finished Taiho Shicahauzo http://www.jdorama.com/drama.740.htm and I guess it falls in this category. The plots are thin, the acting is thinner, I probably won't watch it again anytime soon, but what can I say, l liked it. ashamed

Hummm thatLs a hard one, i have lots of them, but if i have to choose one in particular it would be Boku dake no Madonna, for some odd reason i found it very enjoybale, i even rated it 10/10; but i totally can see the flaws in it: the plot is very cliche and corny, and the acting is nothing special; but itLs one of those doramas i can watch over and over again(and they are very few).

Others i can rate as guilty pleasure are: Oishii Puropozuu, Wonderful Life, Sapuri and Tatta Hitotsu no Koi.

even if it Beat You with it's flaws I still consider it my Bow drama

A Midnight drama called Cupid no Itazura ,, it has nudity in it like many midnight dramas but I found myself liking it,, the story is good (well crazy but gets coherent after the first half) Applaud This reminds me how fun dramas can be

Mine is definitely Koukou Kyoushi (2003 version)
It is quite easy to guess what will happen but I still had to watch it, being curious about the future of the weird relationship.
