Yoshitaka to give a recitation of �gKoi Shigure�h

Today it�fs been announced that actress Yoshitaka Yuriko (21) is going to give a recitation of a short omnibus anime project.

The series is called "Koi Shigure~Yoshitaka Yuriko to 6 no Koi~" and Fuji TV plans to air it on the 16th and 23rd next month. That collection of 6 short stories once got serialized in the magazine called "Da Vinchi". Yoshitaka is now going to read the stories for the anime editions. Furthermore she�fs going to appear in all the music videos for the love songs that play during the ending as well as in the background throughout the anime.

The producers about the project, "We wanted to create some gems for TV with beautiful stories, stylish illustrations and relaxing music." Yoshitaka also explains how she is going to put her whole heart into her voice while verbally creating the stories, "I always want to give that special feeling, therefore I�fm going to seek for more passion rather than love."

Excellent, a Yoshitaka Yuriko thread, I've only just seen it. Another fan here, I also first noticed her in Ashita no, Kita Yoshio, which together with Muri na Renai was my favourite drama from last year. Definitely one of the best young actresses currently in doramas.

She has also shown she is a talented comedic actress in Konno-san to Asobo. I don't think it's subbed, but then it doesn't have to be as it is pretty easy to understand what's going on with minimal Japanese. It's just a series of 10 minute shorts with her goofing around, mainly silently, with a dry voice over by Sawamura Ikki. Very funny indeed.

There's a rumor circling around Japanese 2ch about Yuriko starring in next season's Fuji TV Monday 9 drama.

True, she is quite pretty, but none of the roles that I've seen (Love Shuffle, Shiroi Haru, Ashita no Kita Yoshio) have completely won me over...

There are glimpses to be sure, but she seems to be typecast as a rather selfish, semi-ditzy character...

Mmmh - not sure, sound like Taiwanese drama Black and White, which aired this spring. But I'll check it out for sure, I like cop shows and Yuriko.

Any other stuff that she's been in that you guys would recommend, aside from those I've already seen/mentioned above?

"Tenten" perhaps? A movie with Odagiri Joe, most of the Jikan Keisatsu cast make an apparance too!

Not sure if I can watch "Snakes and Earrings". My best friend and I have both read the book and we both found it very good but quite shocking.
