Kind of odd that it's going until 6 pm, the street dance starts at 4. Hard to be in two places at the same time. Head Scratch

One last little bit of Nisei Week, the gyoza contest and closing ceremonies, it only takes up the first five minutes of the video, the rest is other stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=riDIik8f1HM#t=347

I would've voted for Tamlyn Tomita again. Bleah

Been watching episodes from Saving Grace, the detective series from several years ago starring Holly Hunter (she's gotta be among the fittest 50-something-year-olds out there; that gal is ripped). Anyway, in one of the episodes Tamlyn Tomita appears as a tough talking lawyer from the district attorney's office. It was just one scene, but it was kinda nice seeing her in an acting gig.

Didn't know they were doing another Hollywood remake. Hopefully it'll be better than the previous attempt.

Found this on EBay, from the 2005 Nisei Week festival. One of my favorite Nisei Week t-shirts. It's size medium, so if you're approaching 6' tall it'll probably be too tight, but they're practically giving it away: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NISSEI-WEEK-LITTLE-TOKYO-LOS-ANGELES-original-classic-mens-t-shirt-beige-M-/360801211592?pt=US_Mens_Tshirts&hash=item54016d94c8

And they misspelled "Nisei" which is probably why they don't have any bids!! Beat You
