1) Filipinos or people of other countries is logically equivalent to "people of other countries".

2) foreigners == "people of other countries", so this rule is the same as 1.

what you expect man, it's written in Engrish.....proper syntax, grammar or logic are not requirements

nonetheless the sign and the sentiment are real.

It wouldn't be the same as #2, which is a group of only foreigners.

Frankly, considering the context, you're rather no very friendly either, as the sign wasn't meant for a english speaking country nor a native english speaker. To say that they're retards shows your level of tolerence isn't much higher

Wtf? Is the owner's ex-wife a Filipino or something?

It's kind of weird since it's just a pub and not a brothel. Even with a Japanese escort I woundn't want to spend a dime in a place like this. U Suck

Oh please. I'm ragging on a public sign that is apparently outside a commercial establishment for it's lack of sense ... as well as social enlightenment, and you think that I'm being unfriendly or have a low level of tolerance? Just based on that?
Shocked

As I said, it's in a non-native english speaking country, most likely translated w/ babelfish or some crappy J-E dictionary. Nowhere in my post did I condone that type of behavior, and nowhere did I suggest that you were unfriendly.
So, just as you reserve the right to rag on morons anywhere, I reserve the right to say that you can't tolerate a little engrish.

Who wants a t-shirt with no foreigners allowed? Mr Green

http://www.jlist.com/PRODUCT/SHIRT-NOGA1

No Foreigners Allowed. There's no way around it: whenever you go drinking in Tokyo's fashionable Roppongi district, there's always the chance you'll run into a bar that forbids gaijin (foreigners) from entering. ... =T

that's dope...walk around japan wearing that....until you meet one guy wearing the t-shirt that says "no japanese allowed" and then you can go grab a drink together to show how much you hate each other.

Ok.

But please explain how it is Engrish? With my limited Japanese skills, it looks like a pretty faithful translation that is not overly awkward.

I'll buy "I want a Japanese Girlfriend" t-shirt instead. Wink j/k

That shirt is stupid enough to get you beat up by Otaku and scare the girls away. Sweat

did you ever see this tv variety show special they had guest starring some of the stars of Densha Otoko where they show this damsel in distress in Akihabara?

it was all made up...they showed this really pretty girl being harshly spoken to by another man in an alley in Akihabara...almost every otaku who came across this scene did absolutely nothing to assist this woman...some walked by as if they had seen nothing....othes were afraid to walk past the scene at at all...others turned back and basically ran away....one guy, just one guy came up and tried to intervene.

mind you some of these otakus were actually physically more imposing than the guy berating the woman. it was funny.

I think I saw that, Trivia Seed, right? ... but I thought most of the nerds (over 60%) actually did something to help.
