Eirian ( the japanese pronounciation) is one of the worst insults you can use to a girl

That's what I heard as well ! Some say that the japanese are very helpfull and others say that they are being ignored! But I think it's that way in every country! I aslo think that Tokyo is a little more international than for example the country side.
Yeah, that's how it is in just about every state in America. For one, the proximity to the equator is important. Northerners aren't courteous nor very helpful, and Southerners, for the most part, are. Westerners (California) are just out there. *American joke* Bleah

A lot of them, if not all of them would like to visit at least once. They are very much impressed about the size of America. A lot of them get jaded, however that when they think of the U.S. they think of NYC (bright lights, big city), and California. They don't realize that U.S. has a lot more to offer than just those 2 area. Funny story, 3 yrs ago a friend of mine from Okinawa wanted to visit us in America (we're in N. Virginia, near DC) so we said of course and that we will pick him up at Dulles or National Airport. He decided that their was a ticket cheaper, but with a destination of a different location. He flew from Naha ======> Minnesota and called "Well I'm here in the airport. Can you pick me up?" What a frickin' clown! Mad But it was cool and he eventually enjoyed his stay. (in DC)

I'm not saying that it's bad to live there (in JPN) but I know of people that wanted to go and altho they have some neat stuff there, they eventually want to come back home. Visiting a place first gets you an idea of what the place is like. That's why I think I can live there, I can get used to all the bad things there. The good things are just a bonus.

You'd be surprised at how small everything is, rooms inside homes, cars, clothes sizes, portions servings (foodwise), i can go on....Oh, and don't EVEN mention about crowds. Hey NYC, LA, you think you guys are crowded, you haven't been to any big cities in JPN. Tokyo disneyland? Fugetaboutit!!! 2+hrs to get on a ride! Angry

yeah i saw this program on the Travel Channel about Japan and it like everyone have cellphones. The living space are very small. There was this place that is like a hotel and they sleep in like a coffin looking bed. I wanna try my hand at Pachinko. I really want to visit and maybe live there for awhile but not in the big city on the countryside. Japan is a very nature friendly country.
