I hate to say it, but so far, I've found "My Little Chef" something of a disappointment. There's just not much there to hold the viewers attention. This viewer, anyway.

Right now it looks to me like the show will sink or swim on the strength of the guest stars they bring in for a meal every week.

Ishida Yuriko in episode 3. Yamaguchi Sayaka and Nishimura Masohiko in episode 4.

Has anyone found an episode guide that shows who the guest stars will be in the coming episodes?

who was that girl in ep 4? She looked cute! Of course I'm just watching for Aya and Akiko and all that great food!

I kinda like the humor though, plot-wise it's nothing great, sort of like a bunch of mini-plots but hey, akiko and aya, can't argue with that

The girl in episode #4 was Yamaguchi Sayaka.

And she did look great. She played the comic second banana to Nakatani Miki in "Top Lady".

Kind of interesting... I didn't even notice her in "Top Lady" (well, you know... Miki was there) but she looked great in MLC.

So far, the structure of the show makes me think of it as an indoor "Love Boat".

From my point of view, Miki Nakatani has never made a bad series... or record... or Movie... or commercial... So if Miki was the Little Chef, I'd be loving this show as well.

So I understand why Aya makes this show a jewel in your book.

Hey, KTSF is showing "...Cane Fields" over two weekends for their memorial day special... Does that mean they'll show it along with "MLC"? or instead of "MLC"?

Yea I saw the ad too at the end of the episode. Hmmm, are they airing that on Sunday or Monday since memorial day is Monday. Wouldn't be surprised though if they delayed an episode, oh well. I wonder what other dramas they're going to be coming out with after MLC.

This is one of my favourite Japanese TV Drama, so well organized.

Akiko is stunning elegant, A Ueto is very clever and cute inside.

Hiroshi did a great job, he and Akiko have chemistry between them, a relaxing tv with elegance among everything inside.

KTSF's Fuji TV will be airing a Memorial Day Special, "Song of the Canefields" which was recently released here in d-addicts and aired on KIKU recently.

yah what sucks about the contest, is that college students can't write papers.. i think its only elementary school, middle school and up til high school..
so for those writers out there, write one for your cousin or little sister or brother. the winner can take one other person to japan with them.
