According to their web site, KTSF in San Francisco is about to start running a show called, "Project X". Has anyone ever heard of the show? I haven't found a listing for it, so I'm totally in the dark here.

Project X isn't a drama, it's a documentary. It looks into the background of Japanese projects/products/technologies. I've seen a few interesting ones, for example one about the development of Japanese typewriters from 1950->present, also saw one recently about AIBO. Not a drama though - as I posted the other week, the theme tune is excellent: Miyuki Nakajima - Chijo no Hoshi.

Bummer.

Thanks Andy. Well, that saves me going out and buying new video tape.

Just because it is a documentary...don't think it won't be any good.

This show is awesome. It was airing in Los Angeles KSCI for a while every Friday night but they canceled it after all the programming changes they made.

They have some good ones like

1. The first Nissan 240Z
2. First japanese economy car Subaru
3. The bullet train Shinkansen
4. First high rise building
5. Blood marrow donors
6. Fingerprinting
7. Automatic train ticket machine

That's about all I remember. Great song at the end too Headlight Tailight by Nakajima Miyuki
