I also recommend anyone curious about their name use katakana not only because it's generally used for foreign names, but katakana also has the additional constructions not used in hiragana for foreign sounds.

For example the gentleman who posted his name Andy, as ����ł��Athat would technically be pronounced Ahn-day-E. Where with katakana he would simply be �A���f�� (Ahn-dhi) With the use of the half sized katakana you can make the "dee" sound without stretching it out unecessarily.

I realize that �C may not look half sized, but it's supposed to be one of those tiny ones... Sweat
