Well most American music these days are mostly Raps...Never listen too deep bout Eminem but If u listen to nelly,50 Cents, JA rule...Da diferenz is only Da tune...the rest is sound the same to me..or is it just me?

Spamming for Jin, I don't listen to just rap. (Actually, he's the only one that I currently listen to.) Like all of youse, I have a whole range of musical interests as well, depending on my mood. Since I listen to music mostly when I commute to/from work (1.5 hr each way) I listen to stuff that will keep me energetic and alive, mostly now relegated to fast dance tracks. I don't know how keen you all are about enka. Yeah, that enka. It is to JPN music what country music to american music. I used to ridicule it for a while until I listened to some recently. It actually is pretty damn good. I've posted one up in the link below for those who wants to d/l it. I's called "Amagigoe", by Ishikawa Sayuri. Very soulful piece, it's a song about a woman's forbidden love has come to fruition and is banished to live in the mountains. (enka is very much like country, where ALL songs are basically about sad situations, broken hearts, and yes, forbidden love). Also what got me into the song was that you can hear a lot of traditional japanese instruments in this piece. You know the drum the geisha/maiko-san holds standing up, over one shoulder, that instument is featured. This make me to believe is a very popular song performed by geishas. Well happy listening, and if there's enuff interest, I can put up another enka from Teresa Teng. _________________

i'm a cantonese so i often listen to cantonese songs. Recently had been listening to songs by Twins eversince they act in movie "The twins effects". They's so cute. But i recently heard they're not on good terms and want to disband. But the record company is stopping them for doing so because they're so popular.
Just started reliving all the music from the 80's, particularly The Police, particularly the albums Outlandos d'Amour, Regatta de Blanc, Zenyatta Mondatta, and Ghost in the Machine... Great, great stuff...

Well guy i got to admit i also listen Sting. I listened to him when he was with the Police as well. Another great singer that i still listened to is Peter Gabriel.
