i just watched moon child again yesterday..
this is my 17th times~

but yesterday was a little different..my mom was there,watching it too..
she kept saying that gackt has loads of fantastic features..his eyes..ears...n his height..
kinda agree with her..i love his eyes..
if he's a lady.."she"'ll definitely be a chick..
his songs are damn good~..i love it!
but sometimes his songs are unpredictable..
example birdcage..it's so soothing in the beginning..so i decided to volume up..but out of a sudden!..it turns to a rock song!!..my ear drums nearly burst!
Cool to find some fans of Rock from the east lol. I see you all like Camui Gackt. I think he's really cool, an extremely talented vocalist, he probably has the smoothest voice in rock anywhere. I like Hyde too, he's probably my idol, he's very talented, and he writes all the lyrics to his songs, and he's always angry lol (in his songs!) Anyway, I see you all don't know all that much about Gackt... He's the strangest guy in all of Japanese Rock I'd say, the guy is just utterly bizarre. If you all wonder about his age, it's something like July 4, 1600 or something like that, his actual age is kept a secret due to a publicity stunt from when he was still with Malice Mizer. If you're wondering why Gackt resembles a vampire, it's because he used to be a part of Malice Mizer before he left to pursue a solo career. Gackt is very competitive, so at an early age, he pursued many instruments.
His parents were very strict, so they forced him to learn two hours of classical piano a day. Sometimes, Gackt would just sit there, even if he didn't play, he'd just have to sit at the piano for two hours regardless. He said he hated it. He eventually took up wind instruments (I believe the trumpet, and the tuba), and moved on to percussion (the drums). Gackt was always frustrated that his skills were not on par with his instructors (when he was playing drums) so he would always try his hardest. This led to his mastery of many instruments. Gackt joined Malice Mizer when the band's leader Mana needed a vocalist to replace their previous vocalist Tetsu. Mana found that Gackt's vocal talents far exceeded what they required, but he (yes, Mana is a man... lol This best cross dresser ever lol) also found that Gackt was a very strange person... even over the phone... Gackt would go on to propel MM to new heights as his good looks drew in a large fan base. He later left the band to pursue his own solo career (Much to the dismay of MM fans), and it's a good decision upon his behalf. Gackt has a lot of ideas that could not have been properly conveyed if he had not left that group.
In interviews, Gackt has been quoted in saying some very peculiar thiings. As a child he would complain about how his parents were so strict, and that he was only allowed to listen to classical music and watch educational programming. He lived in Okinawa as a child, and had a near death drowing experience where upon afterwards, he claimed that he had acquired "psychic" abilities. He said that he could feel the presence of the dead around him, and that they spoke to him, and made him do things like walk down the stairs at night. Of course, his parents didn't believe him and sent him back to bed. He said as he grew older, he began to lose this ability however. When asked if he could have anything that nobody else could have Gackt responded that he wanted "A blackhole." Gackt also said that if he died and was reincarnated, he would like to return as a "cockroach". His reasoning was that since the cockroach was his most hated thing, he would return as one to gain a respect for it. When Gackt enters any new room, his first instinct is to check EVERY thing in it. Gackt has been known to check under the bed, drawers, closets etc. of any hotel room he stays in while on tour. He also is very inquisitive. Gackt MUST ALWAYS read the ENTIRE instruction booklet of any new thing that he owns, though after he acquires a full understanding of it, he quickly loses interest in it...
As for Gackt's relations, there are rumors that he is married to... an American woman... strange no? I have no idea about that last one, as it's just a rumor. Well, I hope you enjoyed my little useless trivia bit upon Gackt, and learned some new things about a very unique artist. BTW, my favorite album is of course.... Mars. Although the upcoming album Crescent looks like it may be pretty good, though none will ever again approach the quality of Mars. My favorite song is Emu for My Dear, and a close second is Doomsday, those songs are very epic in nature. On a side note, yeah Gackt is very talented at the piano, but like all other artists in the rock industry, he's still aiming in approaching the level of Yoshiki of X. In my opinion, NO artist in the rock industry will EVER approach that level again, PERIOD. Don't believe me? Listen to the Art of Life. Good summary on a few of Gackt's brief past stories. I've read the long interview somewhere, so basically I know what you're on about. Gackt's indeed an amusing individual. And the prettiest and most handsome boy I've ever seen (LOL)
About his real age... I came across this in Gackt's thread in jpopmusic forums, he should be thirty this year, and thirty-one next July. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but heck.. we're not gonna know his real identity in the near future anyway, so why not just assume this info is "real" (just for info's sake)
And Gakuto or Camui M S Gackt is not his real name either; I heard his real name is Satoru. Sweet.

eww.... I don't hate Mana, I just don't like her too much (Sorry, I'm used to calling Mana-chan "she") She's more scary than pretty, she's even scarier-looking than Kyo (DEG) IMO....
Plus there are lots of pretty boys (in visual kei and jrock) around, like Emiru, Shinya, Toshiya, etc........ Gakkun just happens to be my *luv luv*

He looks very cool in music shows, he looks very funny in the Xmas special when he host the show together with ayumi, ayumi called him
ga-kuchi and "demanded" him to called her ayu-ayu. Gakuto looks so damn kakkoi in suits..

IMO he's kinda thin
And he wore suits almost all the time in Domoto Kyoudai. My fave episode has to be the one with Shingo Mama..

i saw him yesterday @ FCI Nightly Variety Entertainment a show nightly here in so~cal @ 11:30 he was a special guest.... he seems very serious EVEn when he smiles he looked so serious... yup gals love him
and i think he's so cool.... his fashion sence is amazing and he can sing pretty good 2! i'm just a guy fan.. DAMN I SHOULD'VE TAPED THE SHOW:sweat:
