I know several people have PM'd me about the series but I'm sorry guys, it's really low quality and the special as well for me to copy or make it into digital video. Too yucky to look at!

It's a pity that this does not exist someplace in nice English subbed version. I really liked Love Genration and would love to see "The original Version" Tokyo Love Story.

Been thinking of doing a remastering of this drama as well. I might after Heaven's Coins Season 2 unless someone wants to do it. I do have a copy of the drama subbed but the quality on it is awful

Wow, It would be nice if someone would sub and remaster this drama, I was afraid to ask because of all the work it entails. The eps from madol are of superb quality so I perhaps there is a dvd version available.

I honestly would be glad with anything. The vids I watched of ice world and beach boys were also of sucky quality but then again, I would rather have bad quality than never even be able to watch those series.

Me too! I had a copy of GTO that was so horrible in quality parts were unwatchable, yet it is one of my favorite drama's.

i suppose this is the ever 1st japanese drama to be introduce to S'pore.... sice then, people are aware of japanese wind happen early in the year than korean wind... i like this drama due to Kazumasu Oda, the singer of the drama.... like the way he put his feelings into singing...

I am able to get the whole series within a certain amount of time. The quality is excellent and I think I can get all parts of the series. However, these are all raws. So now we just need someone to sub it. Any volunteers?

the dvd-rips available at d-addicts are 11eps. in some countries, they'll chop up a series and make it like 10eps or 12eps, depending on how they want to sell it or broadcast it. i know the 11ep one is complete because in the final episode, the ep# does not display '11'. it simply states 'final episode'.

though i have not seen the special myself, i wouldn't worry too much about it. most jdrama specials are simply 'the making of' the drama, some interviews, and a lot of recap shots of the drama itself.

Mikami Kenichi would be who I was looking for.

Love generation is somewhat similar with Tokyo Love Story, but it's somewhat similar with Tokyo Love Story, but it's with a good ending

Subaru: guess you'll have to watch the series to find out. which girl? in this drama, he's going after ALL the girls!

beat: i actually thought it was a good ending (of TLS). it's because it wasn't the usual, sappy, just-as-i-thought ending. i liked the fact that it wasn't your standard 'everyone lives happily ever after' ending.

i didn't review all the pages in this thread, so i missed 'anonymous's' post. thanks for bringing it up. i wholeheartedly agree - except for the last sentence.

kanchi is not the #2 person in satomi's life. he's definitely #1. but, i think the whole theme makes you think if kanchi should have ended up with the one who needed him most (satomi) ... or the one who deserved him more (rika).
