Well when I lived in NYC it was 'Gung Hei Fat Choi' Dancing

Everybody celebrated Chinese new year in NYC

I guess we are going to have a good year of the TIGER for 2010.

I think if you type Chinese lunar New Year you will find sites that will give you the animals for the years.

Chinese New Year's Eve dinner was sort of a drag: the food was good, but the service was atrocious... We waited almost an hour before our first course showed up, while other tables got their food much sooner.

One of the many reasons I hate eating at a Chinese restaurant. bleh

I can't stand bad service. either. At least the food was good.

We always had a Chinese banquet on Sundays when I was a kid. Even in NYC, Cantonese wasnt popular yet.

I hope we didn't leave a tip... Or at least a minimal one... Unless they already factor in the 15% for a large party. Shake Head
