Hi all... been a while since i come here and i realised that Manami san is getting more popular in jdorama.com!! yokatta! First saw her in the dorama fukaku mogure.. Frankly, that's really show that you don't want to watch for a second time, but i find that she is really pretty and other shows that i watched subsequently, her acting was quite good! too bad, she only got the supporting roles.. till recently, she has been getting the main roles in new dorama... Pls support her and i think she will definitely shine real soon!!!

IMO her acting looks rather fake. but sometimes her acting can be above average. for eg. i hate how she potrays the cutesy lil sister in "seikei bijin". makes me feel......"eeeee!!" get what i mean?

I dunno... I liked her acting in Seikei Bijin. It reminded me of a repressed girl from a RICH family who is attempting to rebel... although, she remains polite and soft about it.

Konishi manami wa totemo totemo totemo totemo totemo totemo totemo kirei desu! She's very beautiful! I've seen her in seikei bijin (Which I'm still downloading... =/) . She has the cutest voice too. It doesn't look like she can ever be mad though. She's one of my most favorite actresses along with Kyoko Fukada! I wish she was closer to my age...one of the only times I wish I wasn't so young! (19 turning hatachi (20) this year)

for me,she looks like she's trying too hard to portray such character.
i prefer her role in boku dake no madonna. it's more......'natural'.

oh well.she's still young.plenty of time for her to improve......which i hope she will!
from certain angles,she looks hot...

I think she did a pretty convincing role in Hotman as the "goody goody" sister. (IMO) That choice of role suits her character. I could never picture her to be a bad ass. _________________

i think she can do the "i'm so harmless" face and yet have the evil eye.

i agree with aho on this one .. have u guys seen churasan?.. she played the bad girl in that one.. and man she cannot play an evil character at all!!

I would say that may be limiting her to play bad girl roles. I have not seen sekei bijin though.. but i would say that her acting in fukaku mogure was quite good... the role is not an evil character, but rather a wierd and "cool" girl, and i think she acted quite good in that role.

in Boku Dake no Madonna, she had an 'evil stare' when she's jealous. does this count? i think she did quite well in boku dake no madonna... her acting in it was definitely better than the seikei bijin one. in seikei bijin, her smile looks fake!

her acting in it was definitely better than the seikei bijin one. in seikei bijin, her smile looks fake!

That wasn't evil, that was an angry stare, the evil stare came on Seikei Bijin when she plotted to break Ryoko and Shiina up.
