OMG, I've been watching the special...it is absolutely hilarious! it has a few inside jokes that refer to some of Kudo Kankuro's other works...it's hystercal!!!

you'd be missing out if you disregarded this special....it was just as funny as many of the episodes of the original series.

the inside jokes references to other kankuro dramas are hilarious.

I can recommend the special It doesn�Lt surpass the series of course, but it has a proper story, almost no flashbacks (as mentionned by Tu_triky) and a great dosis of IWGP humour!
