Nah. Didn't feel like going.

Heck, I consider the Miss America and Miss Universe pagents boring.

Was there on the Saturday of the first weekend.

I caught the JAL float with the Queen and Princesses on Sunday. I'm not sure how great my photo is, but I'll upload it when I get the chance. I did see the Taiko float with Master Tanaka Seiichi and the huge Taru Mikoshi.

I promised this a while back, so here we go:

Some float with a rock band:

Master Tanaka Seiichi of the SF Taiko Dojo:

More taiko:

The Cherry Blossom Court on the JAL float (if only that guy didn't move his head when I took the shot):

The final "float", the taru mikoshi:

Nice pics, doch.

The floats looks similar to those of the Nisei Week parade.

I hope you weren't the person who got into the Court's shot. Bleah I wanted to try out the food at the Webster St. area, but it was so crowded after the parade.

For shame PCM, you should be using the existing thread in the GD forum: http://jdorama.com/viewtopic.4451.htm

Moving and merging.

We went to Japantown last summer and I bought a lot of car stuff at that car store there. I think it's called AutoFreak. Anyway, the Festival sounds like fun, I hope to go to one someday.

Preview Day went smoothly. The six candidates met with their official sponsors, the Japanese press, and leaders of the CB Festival.

Toyota has graciously donated a new Corolla to the raffle! Applaud

Cheers,
