I'm hoping ap or dochira decides to put the show up on D-Addicts.

As I mentioned in another thread, I've been getting a lousy picture on KTSF lately (I whine and I whine, and Comcast turns a deaf ear) so I'm depending on being able to download "Haru..."

I'll tape it just in case. But as I've been doing with "Always Smiling" I'll download the better copy if it's there.

I also have Comcast and I will now carefully look at my recordings of IQ Supri. I was thinking of uploading this to d-addicts, but if it's grainy from the cable company, I would be almost ashamed. Sweat

dochira

I think you would have noticed if your feed was giving you the same problems I'm having.

I take my feed out of Concord. I expect you're on a different line.

Myself... I think Comcast is just doing this to me on purpose. For a week none of the expensive channels (HBO et.al.) were viewable, but the locals were all clear as a bell. A week later, the expensive ones were clear as a bell, and the locals and basic were all crap.

Lately it seems to have settled on KTSF and KQED looking like I've been using a broken set of rabbit ears to pull the shows in.

I don't know how I offended comcast... but obviously they're out to get me.

Like Mama said, you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

But when they're screwing with TV I pay for, I guess it pays to get irrate.

Ten minutes worth of tactless harping on the phone got two comcast trucks out to my neighborhood this morning, and suddenly the pictures on my TV are clear as a bell.

Bring on Haru, KTSF. I'm ready for you now!

It's interesting. The show here is presented as Haru e Natsu - the "e" is I presume the Portuguese "to" or "and".

We hope it sheds some light on that community. Surely there are some interesting contrasts!

After the initial viewing, it looks like a story made to tug at your heart strings... Not sure if it's adapted from a true story or not, but there's no doubting that a lot of Japanese fled to South America to flee starvation, poverty and certain death.

And with Ryoko, Yukie, and Nogiwa Yoko in the cast, how can you not watch? Wink
