Wow I liked the final episode...soo touching my eyes were getting all teary

^ yup it ended in a peaceful sight, too bad they didnt see them reunited again in the end.

I think it was the latter. I liked the ending, but everything fell in place a little to conveniently. Real life ain't like that.

Looking back, the drama was best after the two girls grew up... The oft-played separation scene on the ship was too much: the squealing of the two girls was grating. Realistic, for the most part, but grating.

The only way THAT will be a feelgood drama is if the last scene shows Ryoko tieing the oldest sister to an anthill and covering her with honey!

One other criticism of Taru to Natsu (which you mentioned earlier) the roles were reversed on the two older women. The taller woman took Yukie's role and the shorter one Ryoko's. That had me all confused for about an episode and a half

Yeah, it took me a while to get used to it as well. Odd casting choice.
