Day 13 results from Kōshien:

Chiben Gakuen (Nara) - Sakushin Gakuin (Tochigi) 6-7

Nichidai-san (Nishi Tōkyō) - Narashino (Chiba) 5-0

Tomorrow's games (semifinals):

Sakushin Gakuin (Tochigi) - Kōsei Gakuin (Aomori)

Nichidai-san (Nishi Tōkyō) - Kanzei (Okayama)

And btw eventually I ran out of schools to root for (honestly, the only chance I could root for Nichidai-san would be if it were Ishihara Satomi's high school, hehe Mr Green )

Victory! Peace!

And the winner is...(just like in one of those "tokyocentric" manga)...Tōkyō's team!

Kōsei Gakuin (Aomori) - Nichidai-san (Nishi Tōkyō) 0-11

Beaten

(Oh, well, Hyōgo still made it to the best 8... w00t! )

Dodgers trounce the Cardinals, 13-2.

Clayton Kershaw is now 16-5... Can he make it to 20 wins before the end of the season? Fingers crossed

Looking at the schedule he should get seven more starts so it's doable. Especially if they can get him 13 runs a night.

Kuroda goes today so the Dodgers will get two runs maybe three. Sweat

The Dodgers have been giving him some sizable leads.

Whereas on the other hand:

Sad.

The guy's ERA is 2.88, easily in the Top 10... And he's 9-14. Sad

No run support for the Asian guy. Beaten

I was watching ESPN Sportscenter yesterday when it was reported that Vin Scully would be coming back next year for his 63rd season with the Dodgers. I wonder what the greatest play-by-play announcer in baseball history thinks about all the crap that has befallen his beloved organization.

Unlike the current ownership, Vinny's got enough class and professionalism that whatever he's thinking, he's keeping to himself.
