I probably would, if it was available - this was at one of those all you can eat buffet restaurants, in the sushi/teppinyaki bar.

The All you can eat one I go to offers Maguro, Sake (salmon), Unagi, Shiro Maguro *if i remember right* and lots of other ones and lots of creative rolls too.

If you got the money and can find a good sushi place, try Otoro (Fatty Tuna). You might not be able to taste the difference between that and Maguro the first time round.....but its good

I have heard that ramen is an acquired taste - a lot of "westerners" don't like it.

I don't see what's wrong. As someone mentioned earlier, everyone is weird and each person has his or her own's values, beliefs, and interests that make each person different.

But just because I say that it doesn't mean all people think that. The problem is that in a conservative society, most likely those people will just give you weird looks and possibly saying, " You're freakin white and you are born here. "

Majority of the United States of America do not really think about the outside world. What do you see in the news every day? We don't discuss foreign policy, interests in other countries around the world, yet the news presents a lost dog, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are adopting another kid, and a car chase. I think that explains our country's interests. Certainly, we do have the our foreign policy interests and keep status quo around East Asia, but the media presents the news as if we only care about ourselves.

An interesting fact is that countries outside the U.S. care more about our government than the U.S. care about its own government.

Not to get sidetracked or anything, but I am just saying is that a more open-environment will find you fine and you should do what you want. However, just beware of some people who may not acknowledge you and may find you weird.

Don't be afraid. Do what you want to do and do what you want to learn.
