I thought this plot is something refreshing from the crowd of manga jdoramas I have been watching.
If you are looking for any pop-idol, you will sorely disappointed. This is a serious drama dealing with a controversial subject : sex change.

Toda Keiko plays Hitomi who used to be Hitoshi until she went for a sex change. Hitoshi was once married and had two sons. After his sex change, he separated from his wife and became a mother, literally, to the two boys. The story began when the neighbourhood obasan uncovered her secret and the boys' biological mother came knocking at their door... ...

Interesting... But can only six episodes cover such a complex story?
