From what I've read, how about a max pic/gif image size for the sigs of 150x300, the sum total not to exceed 250KB, and no more than two total (pic/gif, pic/pic or gif/gif)...?

150 for width???.......thats a bit small for a sig pic or for gifs isn't it???
For me....I was planning on sticking with 200x150 for my gifs from now on.
250KB??? looks like i can only make caps from CMs now if this was to be the rule

If it was to be 500KB?? is 568KB ok...thats the closes I could get to 500

I already cut down on the number of gifs in my sig area....
that is small for a sig pix, mine probably exceeds the size.
i am fine with one of each, gif,pix gif,gif pix,pix pix,gf
but i think that 500kb would be good and the size be a bit bigger if possible.

sounds fair...it still gives people who like ani-gifs some freedom to have larger gifs without overkill (hopefully) for those of us that ani-gifs cause problems for.

the dimensions sound good to me too! well, the amended 300x150 ones ^_^ sorry...didn't quote that one too

250kb combined total limit sounds good, and 150px height is okay.

We can fix the display of signatures within that size. If they had anything bigger, their sigs would scroll. I think leaving the width limit at 500 is still ok, not a big problem. Our only concern is the height. Looks quite ridiculous when your sig is usually bigger than your actual post content right?

Your sigs do look nice and interesting at times, but we've to cater to the others too. I'm quite sure there are ways to design your sigs to keep within the limits. Arnel98's sigs have always been animated but kept within 200kB. How's that?

Arnel-san SUGOI!!!

The gifs of Aya that comes from CMs I can definately keep under 500KB....but from her PVs....under 600KB is the best I can do for now.

Then you might have to trim some footage off one end or the other.
