sashimi: hehe. I think Sho did try to defend himself, at least at first. XD He was sort of like sputtery. XD But Nino was just talking louder and faster and closer to ojii-chan. XD;

sumoboy Yeah, I also have trouble sometimes with Nino's radio. They're harder to hear/understand than the other guys' - I think he kind of slurs his words together sometimes and and doesn't speak very clearly in general. ^^; Granted, my level of understanding is also pitably low so it's not like that helps either.

Hm. To me, he doesn't look like the kind will have piercings, scandalous affairs, painted nails or goatees... in short, he is your perfect Mama's boy and boy next door!! And I think he has the best skin among all the members...

I like his wit. The advice DJ Ninomiya dishes out during his radio show are hilarious. But somehow, he is one arashi member who I find the most difficult to understand, in terms of speech. I listen to Aiba's, Sho's, Matsujun and Nino's radioshows regularly and its usually with Nino's that I have to refer to this script to really understand what he is saying..Maybe he speaks too fast.

Sweat

Yar he looks the perfect mama boy!!

And I find it really hard to understand Nino too!! I listen to his radioshows once and I really cannot catch what is he saying!! He speaks like yamap sticking the words together and I don't understand him....

I've only seen the first 5 eps, but I really like Yasashii Jikan so far. It's a more serious drama than the ones he's done in the past (at least of the ones I've seen ^^Wink. He does an excellent job though, as does the actor playing his father. The drama has a sort of sad, but touching/heartwarming feel to it. And the background music is excellent.

It's not for everyone though, some people complain that it moves too slowly. I personally think the pacing is just right, though. It's definitely a character driven drama, so if character development and interaction is your thing, then I think you'll like this one. Big Grin

I agree with takuan...some might say that Yasashii Jikan is too slow... but for me, it's perfectly plot... the background music, the scenery very well suit the drama... the 'yasashii-ness' of the people there... and Nino brought his character very well... the mature nino I can say... do all his best for his father... he try to mend his previous fault... and that's just so sweet and I was so touched by his effort...

Hi guys!

I translated Nino's quotes from Arashi Goto Photobook. There's a lot of them. He talks about romance, how he feels to be in Arashi, socks, stars, nosebleeds, etc etc.

i just finished watching "yasashii jikan", nino chan did a good job. impressed that nino was chosen by the director to be in that kind of serious, slow drama. I realized this was one of the few roles that he played his age. He always plays a high school student. He has this baby face that can pass by as a high school kid. Even he was saying that it's fine with him to play a skinny, weak high school kid all his life! Mr Green I just wonder how he would look like when he's like 30......

I've dreamt of Sho, hopefully Nino is next! Lmao. I'm nuts. hehe

I think that mago episode of Nino and Sho and the apple tree was really funny. I can still recollect what happened! Mr Green

Thanks yamete_evie for the translations!
