I have mixed feelings about this drama and I think that's what the director of this series wanted from the audience. Yonekura Ryoko plays a nurse named Terajima Toyomi, a woman driven by her occupation. She falls in love with the director of the hospital, a womanizer Kamizawa Sakuo, who always manipulates women to get what he wants.
The drama started off pretty slowly by developing the romance between the two. It only started to pick up after episode 5. Luckily the series is only 8 episodes. It's a mix of drama, romance (although twisted), and crime. I like how the series was able to conjure a dark and very creepy feeling in the viewers - the doctor, the female accomplices, and even Toyomi. I'd recommend this series if you wanted to watch something dark - murder, unrequited love, obsessive love, etc. Great acting by Yonekura Ryoko.
In one review, someone mentioned that they would have given it a higher score if not for the ending. From what I've interpreted from the series, the ending completely made sense and I think it was a bit more twisted than what I had originally thought. Pretty intricate story. |

Dark drama which is only 8 episodes long. A few good and shocking twists along the way, but it seemed to be lacking some substance. Certainly worth the effort. |
