I was waiting for JDorama to add Suzuki Sensei to their listing -- took them FOREVER! The dorama was AWESOME! Definitely will change your outlook on life. Loved how it shows Suzuki Sensei sorting out situations in his head before acting. Villain that is not necessarily evil, and a protagonist that is flawed leads to characters that are very believable and relate-able. One of the best endings in a DORAMA. Definitely stands out from other classroom dorama greats like Jyoou no Kyoushitsu and GTO while maintaining the same gist.

"GTO with a brain" best describes "Suzuki Sensei" Unlike "GTO" the class isn't full of bad kids, but they do have their problems and Suzuki Sensei uses his wits to help them thru. And even though these are middle school kids they seem smarter and a lot more mature than the kids in "GTO". Also props to Tomita Yasuko great to watch as Teruko sensei slowly coming unglued.
