Its Christmas, (2000) and Ataru Yazuki (played by Miho Kanno) gets stuck working overtime. When she finally gets off work, she rushes home dressed in a Santa suit to surprise her live-in boyfriend, Ken. She shouts, "Merry Christmas" as she opens the door, but there's no answer. She desperately searches the house for Ken, but he is nowhere to be found. Even his belongings are gone! Thinking it is some kind of joke or something, Ataru runs to long-time friend Kaoru Aizawa's (Manabu Oshio) house. But the only one there is her friend Kaoru, spending Christmas alone making sweet and sour pork. Where is he? Ataru asks. Huh? Kaoru replies. Ken's not here? She asks. You mean he's walked out on you? Kaoru replies. It finally sinks in that Ken is gone. On Christmas...on the day of their first anniversary living together. Ataru, unable to hide her emotions, curls up into a ball as she makes her way into the "kotatsu". As he opens the "Christmas cake", Kaoru realizes that Ataru was ready to propose to Ken. The last Christmas of the millennium proves to be a lonely one for both. | | Fuji TV |

It's my favorite Tanabe Seiichi TV Drama. He is so great in it. And so..... handsome. Yoshiyuki's character is really funny. He is tough on the outside but very semsative and caring inside. Kanno Miho acting is sometimes weird (in a positive way) and quite funny actually. Tanabe Seiichi also has some chemistry with Miho. The plot is rather dry, since we're just seeing the same story lines over & over again (in the case of Ataru's sister's on and off relations with her boyfriend). The single-mother subplot for Oshio's lover is rather unconvincing, not to mention a bit tiring at times.

Miho Kanno remind me so much of Zhao Wei, Huan Chu Ge Ge.I thought the drama is dull and the other cast save for Miho and Manabu disd not help the show.

Got that "cheated" feeling coz the cover is really nice. I had high expectation on that cover but... overall, it's just an ok show.

Wow! This was quite an interesting drama, a story between the relationship of friends. The main girl was very cute, her actions and speech was very funny. She acted very naturally. This was quite an interesting drama, although I never got to see the ending T_T (tears streaming down) I wonder who ended up with who.. ack, so curious!
