Well.. i do like Aiba~kun but i gotta say that his acting skills r worst than a monkey he should stick with variety shows (imo hes the best arashi member in that) and leave the doramas/movies to other arashi members... nino for example (Damn.. he even went to hollywood! The best actor from Johnny hands down!)
The dorama is really heartwarming... and has a nice storyline.. the characters r nice but Aiba just ruins this show! The rest of the casting is amazing... the lil gil is adorable (the best child actress i've seen since Nana~chan). The ending is exactly the same as Yanpapa... really simple (they could have come up with something better). If not for Aiba and his mediocre acting skills i would have rated this dorama a 7 or even 8.

Great first 2-3 epsiodes, but the story slows down by the fourth. After a very disappointing 5th and 6th episode, I decided to stop watching since it's just a waste of time. Not only is the plot extremely bland, the interaction between the dad and the daughter becomes much less touching and much more cliche after watching the same thing over and over again for 5+ hours. In fact, both the dad and the little girl are starting to get on my nerves with their constant goody-two-shoe kind of image... Although the stories are not similar, but the dad-daughter story in Shiroi Haru is so much better (even though there is still room for improvement there as well).

Alright drama. It was pretty cute, but not my typical type of drama. The acting was so-so. I think Momoka (Koharu) is such a stiff little actress in this. I work at kindergartens in Japan and NONE of the kids talk like her. I didn't read the manga or watch the K-drama version so I don't know if it's just supposed to be her character or whatever....but I don't like it. The original writer must not have children or interact with children if they wrote her like this. Anyway, this drama is probably good for people who love family related dramas or dramas involving children.

Little girl Koharu stole the show. First few episodes were very frustrating in regards to Masamune -- but from there the show picks up. Unlike what others said, I liked the side characters -- all the performances were strong. Aibe started off shaky but definitely got better in the acting department. How else is he suppose to portray Masamune?! However, with everything said, I still prefer the father-son/father-daughter interaction in Ima, Ai Ni Yukimasu and Bara no Nai Hanaya (respectively). Child acting performance I would rank 1) Koharu 2) Yuji 3) Shizuku

Aiba still isn't a very good actor, but this was an okay drama. The daughter is one of the cutest toddlers and acts very well, so at least that made it easier to watch. It is interesting to see how he adjusts to the father role, since he is still very young. He doesn't really understand the responsibility at first (which is frustrating because a lot of the mistakes he makes were common sense) so the changes he makes in his life are really sweet.

i like this drama! is very sweet and heart-warming~ Koharu-chan is so cute!!
in every episode there is always a part that is warms my heart ~
the last epi when Koharu ran after the coach, it was so sad~~ the only thing i do not like is that Can they have more scene of Yoko-san and Masamune-kun?! is always repeating the same old scene. But overall, is a nice drama~ for those who like family-themed story plot

this show made me fall in love with aiba. seriously. I almost didn't watch it, but ended up doing so just to see aiba act.. and it was cute! it was a little slow at times, and some of the side characters were really really annoying, but the cuteness between aiba and the girl kinda made up for it!

Hmm... Aiba's first drama as the lead actor. His acting kinda pales when compared to the little daughter of his in the drama. Don't get me wrong, I love Aiba but I don't feel the 'soul' in his acting as the father. Not enough feelings...

This drama was entertaining but sometimes definitely too sweet. In some point main problem were problems every other person but not main characters. Aiba did quite good job and the little girl who played Koharu-chan was great.

Heartwarming in every episode, but it started to get repetitive and I wasn't as interested as I was in the earlier episodes. Aiba's acting progressed throughout and Koharu-chan was great in her role from the beginning.

Ow... I just love this drama so much. Love all the cast, esp that cute Koharu-chan~~~~ The simplicity of the story make this drama special in its own way~~~~

Aiba did a good job in his first main role drama.

ep 2, quite boring. IMHO, Aiba san should consider that acting is not his world. I found him really annoying with strange look on his face and plain acting, i cant really enjoy this dorama

watching - ep 5..never saw anything with Aiba Masaki playing lead role, not bad so far..Koharu-chan kawaii!!

I lost interest in it and dropped it after ep. 6 or 7

Uhmm... Koharu-chan acts better than Aiba... The father role is not for Aiba yet, perhaps later on...
