I read the review of this drama before I watched it..and it said that if you'll be dissapointed with tsuyo-chan's role in this drama...but after watching it, i think it's ok. Although the role did not involved any romantic scenes like those in to heart or summer snow, but i still like his role (well, I might be bias though). A very realistic role indeed. The storyline was very good (although some scenes are a bit dragging) and it convey the today problems facing the younger generation...and of course the 2 heroins are soo kawaii...really like both roles. Especially like the scenes where the three of them are together and trying to boost each other spirit. |

This, again, is a real lesson in life. The story doesn't dive into the deepest crates of emotions, but that wasn't the intention, I think. Very realistic and down-to-earth aprroach on the problems of young grown-ups finding their place they belong. The main character, Shu, develops very nicely, while his two friends do not. But personality-wise they already had grown up, but struggled and eventually overcame their problems from their past.
Nicely integrated classic 60s Soundtrack, good actors, and a little portion of not taking itself too seriously (they reference on being in a Dorama story). |

beautifully written dark story. very inspirational to me, since i'm watching it at the age of 21. it's encouraging to know that there are probably a few others who feels like me now. comforted to know the scriptwriter understands wat i feel at times. give this show a go if u somehow feel something's missing in ur life. u mite feel better after that! shibasaki kou and dohmoto tsuyoshi were really good. :) |

Dec 2003: The three leads did it very well. I love the concept of this drama, but sometimes turned out quite boring and serious. Taught me a lot, about living in this world, is there anything good will happen? Friends do play an important role in teenagers life, they are one of the keys of happiness, wish i had the same relationship in the story too. Very meaningful drama. |

Interesting plotline, but man, it just drags its way on from episode 1. Contemplative, dark, and interesting questions on life itself, but add to the fact that you have got one of the most boring actors in Japanese drama history as the lead role [not to mention he plays the very role of a boring guy in itself!], and it just gets painfully tedious after a while. |

This show has a very weird plot and is very dark and depressing. It makes one think alot. I would argue that this is a good show thou the ending will make you go... "Er...". But pretty much I think it makes a perfect ending for such a show... You will have to watch it yourself to understand what I mean.... |

Not exactly sure what to say about this one... But I guess I should start off by saying that this drama is very friendship & slice-of-life oriented. I don't regret watching it, but let's just say I probably wouldn't have picked it up if I wasn't familiar with the casts. |

the first episode shocked me al lot. thought of a 9p dorama, but the midsection was too sustained. all of the leading actresses did a nice job and it was nice to see the struggle with the daily grind. the end is ok. |
