I'm not sure what my expectations were when watching this drama - Sorimachi Takeshi is an excellent actor and he was the first actor I've seen in a Jdrama (GTO). However, this series is the same old same old Sorimachi Takeshi - the inspirational, loud, and sometimes proves his point through aggressive means type Sorimachi Takeshi. Anyway, the premise of the series is definitely much more original than most of the dramas I've seen lately.
"Dream Again" has a strong cast and a great idea, but sadly that's all. The story begins to drag after a few episodes and the character, Ogi Shunsuke, seemed very unrealistic. The lines were very contrived and the other characters only seemed to detract from what little was positive about the show. Hopefully Sorimachi Takeshi will try a different role next time around. |

Took me a long time to finally get started with this dorama. It wasn't because I didn't want to see it, but because I was afraid that it was just more or less a remake of Wonderful Life (Which I loved!). But I was wrong - the 2 doramas are very different. Sorimachi is a great actor as always and Kato Ai and Shida Mirai do a great job too.
The story is quite different from anything I've seen before, the pace is good and it's interesting through the whole dorama.
I can't help comparing Wonderful Life and Dream Again in my head since they both are with Sorimachi and they're both about baseball. I'm gonna have to say that this one's good, but Wonderful Life is just a bit better. |

i cant believe they can make a nice script will all of the new drama that is airing.. it's very difficult.. (actually it's a remake from 2 American movies.) "Heaven Can Wait" (1978)

u know wot?? this was a good watch and normally i dont really like Sorimachi Takashi (dont ask me why) but in this case he was brilliant as he played the role of a baseball player who died in an accident leaving his girlfriend (Kato Ai) behind but ended up taking over another person`s body who was also about to die. So he ends up being a different person but witht he memories and conscience of who he actually is. A lot of drama develops from here onwards. Not a heavy watch so quite good and Kato Ai is beautiful as always and brilliant! |

I'm still wondering. Is it the maturing charisma of Sorimachi or the good script that is keeping me glued to this drama? Sorimachi isn't aging any faster than his wife yet he graduating from a daddy of a three year old (Hotman) to a 12yr old ! It's really a bonus to have the young actress who acted in "14yr old mother" in this drama - very matured acting. Funny, those with a crown of white hair are the ones who try to act cute ! i love the theme song |

surprisingly good. it's not as predictable as some of the comments here claim. the ending is sweet albeit implausible but so is the entire premise. i've watched takashi sorimachi before but this is the first dorama i've finished.he is quite charismatic but the revelation for me was shida mirai..she never fails to surprise. watched this show in one sitting, which surprised me. |

Interesting story, Takashi sorimachi, Kodama Kiyoshi and Shida mirai always make me laugh. Weird ending, i cried in the middle but i think i waste my tears because there is fake ending, shit!!.. But i respect an ending like that. Unique!!

Average Dorama with great cast. Starts good but loses its drive. Business and daughter stories are good, but the love story gets annoying from the middle. The end was very predictable, but the (unpredictable) very last "mega happy end" was somehow too unreeasonable. |
