Interesting concept lots to think about, but despite strong performances in all the 9 episodes I'm not sure it executes the concept properly, that said I'm not sure how to do it properly either

The idea was interesting, it turns out to be a good scene when referee appear in the main character die moment. The comentators also add a humour factor in this drama, like when they compare Densha otoko to Platini and Maki yoko to dunga, that's really funny.

But the execution was Bad!! Very Bad, The stories was too normal. Except episode 1, 2, and 6. The other episode was boring and sometimes meaningless. When you find something meaningless, you'll realize that you wasting your time watching this drama. The appereance of Nukumizu Youichi on each episode was ok, but when he appear as a main character in Final Half Episode, i just WHAT???.. He's only good when play as supporting character, and now the director tried to give him a main role. When he had a conversation between Kishimoto kayoko for at least 20 minutes, i almost turn off my TV ..woaaahhhhh.. Boring! Just watch the final half episode and you will sleep instantly. This is because of that Overtime episode so i must give this drama 6 point.

What will you do if you die suddenly and for compassionate reason, you are given 4hrs (or less) of 'extra time' to 'wrap up' your life. This is a black comedy somewhat. Some chapters are really funny, the referees always, because they are on the 'run'.Well, what can you do ? Given 4hrs or shorter, every dead person on the show has to run to rush their last deed. What I like about this show is the way each chapter neatly wraps up. By the way, there is always a prominent artiste in every episode........

I liked how each episode was a different story. The commentators were hilarious, as were the referee's. The instant replays were great. They were able to bring humor to the show even though it was all about death. There were many loopholes with the whole time stopping/but not stopping... but if you forget about that it's refreshing to watch.

Another plus is that there are some really great actors in here.

The only gripe I have is the last two bonus episodes. So lame.

[INCOMPLETE. HS] this has a very interesting concept, the additional time, how do you use it for before a real death. despite the interesting concept, the execution and the episodes itself fail to grasp my enjoyment. It's boring and has nothing special to boast, an interesting concept isn't something to boast if it fails to deliver on the screen. I'm dropping this only after episode 2.

Quite nice... some episodes r really good and others r just so-so. Each episode has an amazing cast. At first i tough that all that "lost time" and the judges concept were kind of weird. but in the end having all that "soccer's style" really made this dorama something different. If u r looking for something different Loss : Time : Life is highly recommended.

The only people who are gonna LOSS TIME LIFE are those who watch this! I want all my LOSS TIME LIFE back! Ugh...I know, that was bad...but true! :p
5th episode is the ONLY one worth watching. Our Densha Otoko comes through. Nice twist. It'll bring tears.
7. Comments by jPs34n [Rating: 7/10]
Loss: Time: Life was an interesting drama to watch since it had a unique storyline. Like soccerfs "Loss Time" the people who are about to die gets extra time to live. This drama seems a bit random for every episode but it all comes together in the end.
8. Comments by marspeach [Rating: 9/10]
Really interesting show but it got depressing sometimes with all the deaths and all. My favorite eps were the first one with Eita as the camera man and the one with Tokiwa Takako as the mob lady. I loved her purple kimono. She looked so elegant.
9. Comments by rikastar [Rating: 6/10]
I didn't watch 2 episodes, but that's okay since the stories are not connected. Nice concept, average execution. The only ones I liked with an actual story AND good acting were the ones with Ito Atushi (densha!) and Maki Yoko.

this show is really nice!!!!
It's funny at the 1st half of the show when the referee came out...but when it come to the end when the character is gg to die...it's really sad..this show really makes me think....

Ending was interesting. Hit or miss with the random line individual episodes. Hated the referees ... wish they would die and disappear.
12. Comments by chibichan [Rating: 9/10]
interesting concept about how everyone have their own loss time, different story in every episodes makes this dorama more interesting
