(Watched- Episode 1-7) This show has the best opening.. actually I think it was ending.. theme ever. Not just the song which is spirited and passionate, but the series of quick and compelling abstract images that perfectly convey the bittersweet and mature storyline that will unfold. I would have loved this series.. probably adored it.. if I had not been a total fool and happened upon an enormous spoiler that will no doubt tarnish my experience with the rest of this series. Now I just wish for a device allowing selective memory loss so I can restart the journey of this story and watch it the way it was meant to be watched. Learn from my mistake and avoid spoilers at all costs my friends.. I'm going to finish this series eventually anyhow. |

(Watched Eps 1-7- will update upon completion) A pair that are destined to tug at your heartstrings. The differences between the two leave their relationship perpetually doomed but like all love stories, the moments of happiness are worth all the pain. I love the idea. I was even reeled in by the gimmicky love triangles and been there/done misunderstandings that plague all relationships. But the writing would fall flat at times- periods of dullness that could be too much to put up with if you're not patient, or just looking for a quick easy ride. |

Has the very valuable ability to make the viewer sincerely laugh and cry and laugh some more.. great characters, giant chemistry between Yankumi and Sawada Shin, very fun. Any show that I can marathon for 9 hours straight gets my vote. The only thing keeping it from the coveted 10 is that it peters just a bit near the end with a little bit of repetition and a story not quite as perfect as it could be. Hardly enough to keep it from being an excellent must-see. |

At least before the end of the first episode the pacing, the concept, everything is wide and frentic leaving the viewer wondering how on earth things are going to turn out.. and becoming all the closer to the characters, many of which have questionable morals.
